Align Blade Case — Review 02Mar08

Align has a Main Blade Aluminum Case for transporting your rotor blades. It is an aluminum case similar in construction to the Align 450 case. It is 30 x 4 x 4.25 inches in size and is foam lined. It will protect contents from major drops and dings but not any major weight such as someone jumping onto it.
The case contains two small, movable foam inserts that are designed to hold the blades. It is designed to hold four 600mm-style blades and if you remove the two foam end caps it can easily accommodate 700mm blades. If you like to remove your tail blades there is even a slot at each end to hold up to eight tail blades. There is not much room left over for other items although you can fit some small skinny items in there. You can easily fit multiple sets of smaller blades with extra room leftover.
The case does its job well and if you have nice carbon fiber blades for your T-Rex 600, or similar heli, then this is a great way to protect and transport them. Recommended.
